Deadlock Dark Sour is a series of barrel aged American dark sour ales that are fermented with a mixed culture of Brettanomyces, and Lactobacillus and then aged on berry fruits. For the Summer 2015 release, we chose to age this beer on boysenberries. Deadlock has rich notes of chocolate covered boysenberries and deep, barrel complexity. The Lacto and Brett provide supporting tartness and earthy, wild grown fruit notes. Bottle conditioned to help the flavors evolve over the seasons.
Pre-Sale Tickets for Deadlock Bottle Release:
Bottles of Deadlock Dark Sour with Boysenberries will be available for purchase through brownpapertickets.com on September 10th, 2015 at 12 noon. The cost of each 750 ml bottle is $18 plus tax and CRV. Only 450 bottles will be released, resulting in a limit of (2) bottles per person.
Release Party for Deadlock Bottle Release:
Starting on September 17th, 2015 at 2 pm guests can pick up their pre-purchased bottles of Deadlock Dark Sour with Boysenberries in the Council Brewing Tasting Room. The last day to pick up your Deadlock bottles is October 17th, 2015 during tasting room hours. Any bottles not picked up after that date will be forfeited to Council Brewing Company.
